About Daniel
With over ten years’ experience in the financial services industry, Daniel Taylor joins the team as an independent financial adviser following our acquisition of Taylor McGill.
Daniel initially joined Taylor McGill in an administration capacity whilst completing his qualifications to become IFA. He has been practicing and working alongside clients since 2013. His expertise lies in supporting clients who have inherited wealth and are looking for financial guidance, as well as in providing retirement and later life planning advice.
Daniel says: “Considered planning, sound investment management and the strong ethos of partnership lie at the heart of what George Square does, and I know it carries these values throughout all aspects of the business.

About Sophie
We’re also pleased to welcome Sophie Marshall to the team as an administrator. A natural problem solver with a keen eye for detail, Sophie will provide day-to-day administrative support to our team of financial advisers.
Having worked in financial services for four years, Sophie began her career aged 17 as an apprentice. Since then, she has worked within the industry to develop her skillset and gain valuable experience and knowledge of the sector.
Sophie says: “George Square is a highly reputable financial advice firm, and I am looking forward to learning from its expert team of advisers, further expanding my industry knowledge, and developing trusted relationships with all the clients I work with in my role as administrator.”
