Ian entered into life assurance as long ago as 1976 and spent almost 30 years as Partner and Managing Director of Nelson Dean Associates. He now concentrates on running the business side of George Square Financial Management, but remains close to a number of long-standing clients and professional connections from the past.

Relinquishing his advisory role enabled Ian to expand his wide range of interests including many styles of music, wildlife, Notts County FC and cricket, from grassroots level to following the England team around the globe.
